My name is Dan Martin and I’ve been coming to No Limit gym for 6 or 7 years. I was overweight and sat at a desk, lazy and weak so I knew I needed to do something. I used to play softball and was very active but I needed to try to start doing something so I started running and did some triathlons and trained for marathons, but then after the marathon, I’d crash and have to start my training all over. One of my heroes is Jack Lalanne, he died at 96 after he did his daily exercise that day and he said that you know you could do an exercise every day and you recover throughout the day so I’d love to do that finish that way. I would say that my age motivates me to keep doing something when I don’t want to and when I feel tired I need to do something. I don’t want to climb that mountain and have to build it up again and get strong again and I like to stay up on that mountain of strength and flexibility a lot of times when I’m traveling I can do some exercises or you know I’m on a cruise or something I can go in the workout room, I have learned how to do that now through this but when you come to a boot camp you can do what they tell you to do and do the workouts and it feels great.
