My name is Kim, and I’ve been coming to No Limit Gym for almost 8 years. I was always active, I’ve always been doing something. I was part of a running club, I’ve always been a gym member, but it was never to the point where I was really happy with my fitness level and how I looked. No Limit, they were able to kind of get me to the next level. Working with No Limit, as cliche as it sounds, it’s been lifesaving. I was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago, and No Limit got me through all the chemo, through all the treatment, and the surgeries. It was Sako and the team and the clients, they were there to support me every step of the way. Sako threw a fundraiser the first couple of weeks after me being diagnosed, and when I came in after my surgery, the whole team met me at the door I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face, they just were such a huge part of me getting through that. My life now is wonderful. I’m 52 years old, I’m in better shape than I’ve ever been, and I owe it to No Limit. I mean, without a doubt, not only have I been able to get to where I want, I’ve been able to stay there. I’m able to go snowboarding with my kids and keep up with my 16 and 18-year-old kids and say, “Hey look, Mom’s kind of cool,”
Fast forward to 2023, she just completed 10 pullups in a row without assistance. Kim is living proof that anything is possible with the right mindset, belief in oneself, consistency, and hard work. It’s not easy, but anything is possible.
