Kristin Oelkers

Kristin is a certified nutrition coach and personal trainer. She joined the NLPT Team in 2023 and has been on a mission to help as many people as possible feel more confident in their bodies! Through strength training, nutrition coaching, and holding her clients accountable, she has helped them feel lighter, reclaim independence in their own bodies, and improve their overall health.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What does it look like once I join?

Once you sign up, you will begin logging your food for 5-7 days, including at least 1 weekend day. Once you complete that portion, you will send it over to Coach Kristin. After she’s gathered her feedback about your log, you guys will hop on a call and create your first action plan. From there, check-ins will be consistent based on the program you signed up for.

 

What kind of diet plan do I get?

There is no one-size-fits-all all. You will receive a plan tailored to you. There will be some form of calorie, portion control, or macronutrient tracking involved with the plan based on your preference and goals.

How often will I talk to my coach?

You’ll have unlimited access to your coach (text/email), so the frequency of communication depends on how often you need support or your questions answered.

In the first 12 weeks, you’ll have a formal check-in bi-weekly to reflect on your progress, report specific metrics, and get feedback on what’s working, what needs improvement, and adjustments for the weeks ahead. After that, it depends on the program you choose. 

We will have ongoing conversations throughout the week offering continuous support. We pride ourselves on the strong connections and relationships we build with our clients. Kristin is quick to respond usually but please allow a 48 hour response time

Do I get a training plan with this?

Training is a separate program. However, training and nutrition combined will make a tremendous impact on your success in a positive way. We have two options, in-person training or remote coaching.

Is there a minimum time-frame to commit?

Great question! All new members commit to a minimum of 12 weeks. This ensures you’re as committed to achieving your goals as we are. Three months is the minimum because it provides enough time to deliver great results and equip you with the education needed to maintain them long-term.
